The Flames were held to zero points against the Orange.

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Syracuse dominated Liberty in its first season-opening shutout since 2015. The Orange forced three turnovers and eight sacks, and when the Flames reached the red zone, SU forced a fumble in the first half. All three of SU’s touchdowns came on the ground and the Orange spoiled Liberty’s first game in the FBS, 24-0.
